Every card is generated from three public databases: F1 disclosures
(ehbc-shxw), campaign contributions (kv7h-kjye),
and lobbyist registrations (xhn7-64im), all on
data.wa.gov.
Scores reflect structural overlap between financial interests and legislative authority. A high score is not an accusation. Legislators with a "Full Analysis" link have been investigated beyond the automated screen. Read full methodology →
Apr 23, 2026 — Screener v5.1: fixed entity matcher that produced false-positive lobbyist linkages from generic business suffixes (e.g. "Partners, LLC"). Fixed district parser fallback that misassigned 35+ former candidates to LD 20. Removed professional staff (non-legislators) from results. Nick Jacob (House PIO) removed after subject correction request.
Apr 21, 2026 — Scoring correction: Rep. Shaun Scott (D-37) badge updated from CONFLICT (score 28) to CLEAN (score 0) after CY2025 F1 showed only legislative salary. Previous score was based on stale CY2024 candidate filing. Rep. Brian Burnett (R-12) upgraded to STRUCTURAL OVERLAP via manual override after reader identified lobbyist-connected employer (Seattle's Finest Security, Sermonti Public Affairs since 2021) plus Community Safety committee jurisdiction overlap. Both corrections triggered by the same reader.
Apr 15, 2026 — CY2025 F1 data refresh. 143 incumbents scored. Screener v5 deployed with fuzzy matching and contribution cross-referencing.
